BRT Van is still going to the mountain! [↑]
Spring may be in the air, but the snow is still deep on Mt. Hood. Our BRT van is staying busy transporting our guests up to Mt. Hood Meadows. Why hassle with driving on your own? Reduce your carbon foot-print - ride the BRT Van!
In case you haven’t heard: the BRT is a BED in our hostel room, a RIDE to the mountain in our 4x4 van, and an all day lift TICKET, all for $60! (If you prefer to book a private room, the lift ticket and ride can be added for just $35 per person).
The Hallway Gallery [↑]
Our downstairs halls are bare, but there’s a good reason for that. We are installing track lighting and gallery hangers, and it will be transformed into a place for local artists to display their work. We are calling it "The Hallway Gallery." Stop by and see why White Salmon is known as the Art of the Gorge.
Winter Rate Changes to Peak Season on April 1 [↑]
Our winter rates run through March 31. After that we will go back to our peak season rates: Queen Room- $90 for one person / $115 for two people.
King Suite- $135 two people. Additional persons in a room are $25 (children are $2 per year of age).
Breakfast is included with all private rooms. And don’t forget our economical hostel room at $25 per person (more information below).
Biggest Secret in the Gorge: The Alpine Hostel Room [↑]
If you are looking for lodging that’s easy on your budget, you might want to stay in our new Alpine Hostel Room. The $25 price gives you a night in one of our custom-made bunk beds. While it does not include our hearty breakfast, for $10 more you can add breakfast to your stay.
The Columbia Family Room [↑]
We are pleased to have finished our family room, with all new comfortable furniture, a big screen TV, X-box 360, and an assortment of games and reading materials. There’s even a fireplace to curl up in front of on those still-chilly spring evenings.
Sweetheart Package Offered Year-Round [↑]
February is past, but we know that romance can happen anytime! So we are offering our Sweetheart Package year-round. Add wine, chocolates, and flowers to any room for just $30.
Wine Tasting on the Sun Porch [↑]
Our "Warm up with Wine" tastings were so popular this winter that we decided to keep it going and "Swing In to Spring"! Every other Saturday through the end of April, between 5 and 7 pm, you can join us for a sampling of Gorge wines, local musicians, and light appetizers, for a $10 admission. Come and join the fun!
March 8: Featuring Syncline Winery and the music of Richard Tillinghast
March 22: Featuring Cascade Cliffs Winery and music by Rishell Graves and Jimmy Lagroone April 5: In the spirit of April Fools Day, we will do a "blind tasting" of our favorite wines. Come and try your taste testing skills. You may even win a prize!
April 19: Featuring Wind River Cellars Winery
Need a Gathering Space? [↑]
Did you know that our sun porch can be rented out for meetings, parties, family gatherings.... Anything that needs a nice room to meet in! Please call us for prices and options.
Rafting, Fishing & Spa Packages [↑]
If you are planning to book a stay with us this summer and want to add a package, remember that things fill up early in the Gorge. The sooner you book, the better your chance of securing a spot on that boat, raft, or massage table. Click here for full package descriptions.
